YSN 2025 NFL Mock Draft

YSN 2025 NFL Mock Draft

The ultimate last minute mock draft is done two and a half hours before you have to be at a draft party. Someone sent me a mock draft simulator last night and the 2019 version of myself started to craft up some trade scenarios and perfect destinations for a few prospects.

There won’t be much analysis on this article due to the time frame, but here is my 2025 NFL Mock Draft (only the first 32 picks).

Let’s get into it.

1. Tennessee Titans – QB Cam Ward, Miami

I mean… can there be a more obvious pick in this draft? I love Cam Ward as a person and I’m hoping that he has an illustrious career, I just don’t know if throwing him into this situation in Tennessee will lead to that immediate success that people will hold him to.

I mean who are his weapons? Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard? In big 2025? That’s a tough one. However, this guy did throw for 39 touchdowns and over 4,000 yards last year so I guess anything is possible.

2. Cleveland Browns – WR/DB Travis Hunter, Colorado

My favorite player in this draft and, in my humble opinion, the best player in this draft. His knack for the ball on both sides is magical and I think he will have great success playing on both sides on Sunday’s.

Big shoutout to Coach Prime for taking Travis under his wing. No better former defensive back to tutor an up and coming player than arguably the greatest corner of all time.

Now obviously, it’s going to get kind of weird at the quarterback position this year for the Browns as Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett are the only healthy players at that position on their roster as of right now. However, I think my grandmother could be throwing this guy the football and he’d get at least 500 yards.

A special, special football player.

3. New York Giants – EDGE Abdul Carter, Penn State

LaVarr Arrington, NaVarro Bowman, Micah Parsons & now Abdul Carter. The reign of the #11 at Penn State continues. And Carter, born and raised in Philadelphia, is going to have to get used to liking division rival New York Giants for a while.

That defensive line of Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodaux, Dexter Lawrence & Carter would be unbelievable. Now as a Patriots fan, I hope they trade this pick to a quarterback needy team so we could get Carter, but I’m very doubtful that will happen.

The best part about Carter’s game is that he can play anywhere on the front seven of a defense. Excited to see how this Giants team takes advantage of that.

4. New England Patriots, OT Will Campbell, LSU

Enough of this wingspan and arm length nonsense. How about we just play some “run a motha***** over” offense? Is that okay with everyone?

We’ve needed a left tackle ever since Trent Brown’s first tenure with us ended. This fills that need for at least the next four years, and possibly beyond.

Campbell is very outspoken about how much he likes Head Coach Mike Vrabel and how he enjoyed his visits at Gillette Stadium. I’d be very surprised if they go anywhere else with this pick.

5. Chicago Bears (via JAX) – RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State

The first trade! And I mean, who wouldn’t want to trade for this guy?

I’m not apart of this utter woke nonsense narrative nowadays that running backs aren’t as important to take at a high pick. Look at what Saquon brought the Eagles this year. It’s simple, you add Ashton Jeanty to any offense in the NFL and the defensive game plan the opposing team has does a 360 turn.

2,601 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns in 14 games. This guy is not normal. This is the perfect weapon needed to take some more pressure off of last years #1 pick, and 2022 Heisman Trophy Winner, Caleb Williams.

6. Las Vegas Raiders – OT Armand Membou, Missouri

Honestly, who the hell knows what the Raiders are doing nowadays? I could see them reaching for a wideout here, but they didn’t just pay Geno Smith all that money to be running for his life. And one thing Pete Carroll is going to do is protect his quarterback.

Especially one that he spent ample time with in Seattle. Membou is a little on the shorter side for a tackle at 6’3″, but has the versatility and footwork to play both inside and outside on the line.

7. New York Jets – DT Mason Graham, Michigan

At this point, if Graham falls this low, you just have to take the best player available. It’s almost an embarrassment of riches situation with Graham, Derrick Nnadi and Quinnen Williams holding down the fort on the Jets front four.

Maybe if Williams walks out the door in the next couple of years, Graham can easily step into his role.

8. Carolina Panthers – LB Jalon Walker, Georgia

Walker was a key cog in a stalwart Georgia Bulldogs defense. If you have any doubts about his talent as a player, just go watch both of the games against Texas from last year.

He had over three tackles for loss in each game, and was flying everywhere on the field. Every Texas Longhorn that lined up that night on the offensive line probably still sees him as their sleep paralysis demon.

Ever since Brian Burns walked out of the door in Charlotte, the Panthers have been needing an explosive guy off of the edge. And Walker can be that guy, especially with the veteran leadership that newly acquired Jadeveon Clowney can bring.

9. New Orleans Saints – QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado

Every year, these NFL draft “experts” (not that I’m better than them), bring out a crazy narrative right before draft night.

“Tyler Shough is the best pure thrower of the football in this draft.”

“Jaxson Dart is the second best quarterback in this draft.”

These are two incorrect takes. Not even opinionated, just incorrect. Before they lost to Kansas, Colorado were on the path to play in the Big 12 Championship Game. And a lot of that success was due to the guy wearing #2 at quarterback.

This is a guy who has incredible accuracy and football IQ.

He is the FBS all-time leader in completion percentage (71.8%) and broke several school records in the two years he was starting at Colorado.

With Derek Carr’s questionable status for the 2025 season, I think the Saints should take their shot with Sanders with this pick.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars (via CHI) – TE Tyler Warren, Penn State

With the recent loss of Evan Engram, the Jaguars desperately need to upgrade at this position. And Trevor Lawrence, who had his worst year as a pro last year, needs his security blanket on third downs.

Forget the combine stats and analytics for just a few seconds and just do one simple thing for me please.

Cut the tape. Tyler Warren is a ball player. And he will be a successful tight end in this league.

11. San Fransisco 49ers – CB Will Johnson, Michigan
12. Dallas Cowboys – EDGE Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
13. Miami Dolphins – S Malaki Starks, Georgia
14. Indianapolis Colts – TE Colston Loveland, Michigan
15. Atlanta Falcons – CB Jahdae Barron, Texas
16. Arizona Cardinals – WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona
17. Cincinnati Bengals – DT Walter Nolen, Ole Miss
18. Seattle Seahawks – OT Kelvin Banks, Texas
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – S Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina
20. Denver Broncos – WR Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
21. Pittsburgh Steelers – QB Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
22. Los Angeles Chargers – RB TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State
23. Green Bay Packers – EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku, Boston College
24. Minnesota Vikings – CB Trey Amos, Ole Miss
25. Houston Texans – OT Josh Simmons, Ohio State
26. Los Angeles Rams – LB Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
27. Baltimore Ravens – EDGE Mykel Williams, Georgia
28. Detroit Lions – EDGE James Pearce Jr., Tennessee
29. Washington Commanders – EDGE Mike Green, Marshall
30. Buffalo Bills – WR Matthew Golden, Texas
31. New York Giants (via KC) – QB Jalen Milroe, Alabama
32. Philadelphia Eagles – EDGE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M

Well there it is. It’s not the seven round mock that I did for three years, but it will do. I have another sports article finished and ready to post, but I have to wait for a certain event in Northwest England to happen first *wink, wink*.

Until next time, this is YSN, signing out.
