Arsenal haven’t made much noise this transfer window just yet. Their original bid for Zaha of $56 Million plus three undisclosed players was rejected by Palace, as they are asking around $99 Million to send Zaha to the Gunners. After getting their bids for both Tierney and Pépé rejected, Arsenal’s lone signing of the summer has been 18 year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli for $7.5 Million. The young talent has already scored on his preseason debut on July 15th against American side Colorado Rapids. Manager Unai Emery has already hinted at Martinelli getting some first team action during the season. The Gunners have stated that they want to bring in new talent for this upcoming year, we’ll see who they go after.

After a successful 2018/2019 campaign the Reds have little to replace. All of their key players are returning and their depth is strong at every position. They’ve decided to go out and invest in a young talent from the Eredivisie. They have bought 17 year-old Dutch center back Sepp van den Berg from PEC Zwolle. He will be learning directly under arguably the best defender in the world, and fellow Dutchman, Virgil Van Dijk. Right back was a much needed position for United after fans were quite disappointed by captain Ashley Young’s performance last year. After finishing sixth, United need a big bounce back year and signing Wan-Bissaka is definitely the right start. United have also almost completed the move of 26 year-old English center-back Harry Maguire from Leicester City. After surprisingly finishing second in the championship table, Sheffield United have qualified for the premier league for the first time since 2006. Sheffield have signed him for a club record $8.7 Million. The Blades have also signed former player Phil Jagielka from Everton on a free transfer adding some Premier League experience. No one expected the Blades to be here, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they shock everyone and stay up this year.

Southampton: Danny Ings (Striker)

After struggling mightily last season, the Saints have gone out and splashed the cash this summer. First, they made the loan deal of 26 year-old English striker Danny Ings permanent for $25 Million from Liverpool. Ings had a decent loan spell at St Mary’s last year after scoring 8 goals and recording 3 assists. Southampton then went out and added some youth to the squad. They signed 22 year-old striker Che Adams from Birmingham City for $18.8 Million and 20 year-old winger Moussa Djenepo from Standard Liège for $17.6 Million. Adams was named to the Championship team of the year last year after scoring 22 goals and recording 5 assists. Image result for ismaila sarr 1200 x 800

Watford: Ismaïla Sarr (Winger) (RUMOR)

Watford had a solid year last year finishing in 11th place. They haven’t made any major singings so far but their main target is 21 year-old Senegalese winger Ismaïla Sarr from Stade Rennais. The Hornets are currently battling Arsenal for the young talent’s signature. Sarr scored 13 goals and recorded 11 assists in all competitions last year. He would be a massive signing for either club. However, reports are saying that he wants to play football at Vicarage Road next year. If the Hornets are able to land Sarr, it would be a huge boost to the club and will help them challenge for another mid table finish this upcoming year.

West Ham finished 10th in the premier league last year and the Hammers were not satisified. They have made two massive signings so far in this transfer window. Haller scored 20 goals and recorded 9 assists in all competitions for the German side last year. After scoring 13 goals and recording 8 assists last season, Wolves have made Raúl Jiménez their most expensive signing at $43 Million. Wolves made Jiménez’s loan deal permanent from Benfica and have him signed on for four more years. Wolves have also been linked to Atlético Madrid midfielder Ángel Correa. The 24 year-old Argentinian has fallen out of favor with manager Diego Simeone and is looking for a move out of Madrid. Wolves have a chance to qualify for Europa League this year through a play-off and once again look like an exciting side to watch this year.
